Optional command line parameters: '-KillSteam" : Kill running Steam.exe Process
'-Online' : Set Online-Mode

Introduction

I wrote this very small tool to to run Steam Offline-Mode directly.

Usually you have to run Steam, activate the Offline-Mode and restart it again to do so.
Its done by setting the Offline-Flags in '../Steam/config/loginusers.vdf' to 1 or 0

A previous running Steam process can also be terminated by command line parameter.

This Program is working fine for me, and free for all, but there is no guarantee for anything! Use it on your own risk!!"

Setup:

 1. Copy Exe into the Steam directory (were the "Steam.exe" is located.
2. Run Program

Example: Steam_Offline_Launcher.exe -KillSteam
Kill running Steam-Process, activate Offline-Mode and start Steam

Example: Steam_Offline_Launcher.exe -online -KillSteam
Kill running Steam-Process, activate Online-Mode and start Steam


It should run fine on all Windows versions from XP to Windows 10 (32/64 Bit)
propb. the VB6 runtimes are needed!

..so don't use this tool, if you don't know what you are doing..
